karin mackay
karin has just completed the first year of a Doctorate with The Centre for Cultural Research at The University of Western Sydney looking into how women's creative and spiritual practice influence wellbeing. Some of The Women's Room groups will participate in this ground breaking research. It is hoped this will help validate the importance of organisations like The Women's Room in developing practical understandings of eco-cultural wellbeing such as soul connections to our deep self, to kin and the earth. Karin is a self taught artist currently working on illustrating a set of nature’s oracle cards, has four children, works for The University of Western Sydney one day a week and does her best to manage The Women’s Room Organisation.
